Murray Farm has a proud history of public speaking. We participate in the prestigious Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking Competition every year with rewarding results. This competition, run by The Arts Unit at NSW Education, offers thousands of NSW students each year the opportunity to develop their speaking ability and confidence by exploring ideas relating to multiculturalism in Australia – often, but not necessarily, with reference to their own heritage and family stories. In 2017, Murray Farm was proud to have a representative in the State Finals of the competition. In 2018, Murray Farm successfully had two students through to the regional finals (top 140 in the state)! We wish them both the very best of luck for the rest of the competition.
